Things i can't understand !

1. Why is it called a "building" when it is already built ?

2. Do you know transportation thru roadways or car is called as a Transshipment, whereas, transportation thru sea or ship is called as a cargo =))

3. Why does glue doesn't stick to its bottle but it sticks soon as we take it out...

4. there are so many words which have silent letters... if they are of no use... why to put them there unnecessarily... Example : psychology, champagne, knife and lots more like this...
